Rising Strong Retreat, Carlsbad, North San Diego, Jan 7 -10, 2019

Rising Strong Trailer from Brené Brown on Vimeo.

Overwhelmed… Overworked… Disillusioned…

You had a Dream. You Dared Greatly. You went all in.

And…

Faceplanted. Failed. Fell short.

You were always the mission-driven and compassionate one. A giver and helper who is always there for others, you care about saving lives and making a difference. You thought your marriage was forever. You went into your profession to help people But it feels like no one is watching out for you, like no one cares for you.

You were going to change the world as a professional, an entrepreneur, an artist, a mom…

You have always been the humanitarian, an altruist and idealist. But now you ask yourself “How did I get here?” This is not what you signed up for. You find yourself compassion-fatigued and disillusioned on the verge of burnout on a faster and faster treadmill of work, attempting to do more work in less and less time…

Then Life blindsides you.

Failure. Bankruptcy. Divorce. Layoff. Death. Natural Disaster.

You know you deserve better but you can’t figure out how.

You feel betrayed, frustrated and stuck, knowing that you have spent your whole life training for your profession, building your family, building your business, finessing your craft. But the struggle is real. You have sacrificed relationships, well being and other beloved hobbies for this path. Now you are not sure how to continue.

You want to rise strong but you are overwhelmed. You feel a disquiet in your soul but too tired to do anything about it. You are busier than ever but bored.

You have no time – too tired for real connection, exercise, real friendships or even hobbies. You find you can’t be your true self in friendships because others expect you to always be the strong one and the helper so your friendships become non-reciprocal one way-streets.

You wonder what’s the point of this path if such pain and suffering are even worth the dreams you hold dear.

You don’t have to throw it all away to enjoy your life.

You, as an altruist, helper, do-gooder and idealist deserve a safe space where you can heal, align, connect and thrive so you can be compassionate, excellent and passionate about your life and your mission in the world.

Imagine a place where you can really be vulnerable and authentic without fear of appearing weak, being exploited or dismissed as unrealistic.

You do not have to put on a mask or act tough to hide your heartbreak. You don’t have to wonder if anyone really has your back or even truly cares.

If you are ready to dare again…

If you want to rise strong from failure…

If it feels like you are living someone else’s life and hardly recognize yourself in this autopilot mode…

If you are tired of Perfectionism and ready to strive for excellence instead…

If you can’t remember the last time you felt truly alive, free, truly connected or filled with joy…

If you crave fulfillment, work-life harmony or you want to commit to doing work that matters…

If you want the courage to live the life you really want aligned with your values and ideals…

… You have come to the right place!
